Hi, I'm Arav!
Welcome to my site :3

Nice to meet you :p
I'm Arav, a third-year computer science and cognitive neuroscience student at Wilfrid Laurier University.
I love working on passion projects integrating both of my majors, tutoring others, and building things that are interesting! I'm super excited about machine learning and AI, and hope to soon break into a career in which I can apply these skills.
Outside of technical projects, I enjoy working out, playing badminton and watching anime! ⚡
A fun fact about me is that I have a very diverse music taste - I listen to everything from underground music to alternative!

Featured Projects

Dynamic Parking in Urban Networks
Created in a team of 5 for my AI course, this system dynamically recommends optimal parking lots to drivers in real time using reinforcement learning.
I implemented the Deep Q-Network (DQN) agent using Python and PyTorch, training it to minimize driving time, walking distance, and parking cost
Tech stack used: Python, PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, NetworkX, Gymnasium
Mooody
Created in a team of 4, Mooody is a mental health journalling app that analyzes your mood based on your journal entries.
I worked on developing Mr. Moo, the AI therapist chatbot using the Gemini API. I also developed the frontend/UI for the chatbot using Python's Streamlit library.
Tech stack used: Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
